Exhibitions in Florence

MAGGIO FIORENTINOMusic has played a very important part in the artistic life of Florence; the very first opera was in fact created here at the end of the 16th century, based on the theories and the experiences of the Camerata dei Bardi. The temple of Florentine music today is the Teatro Comunale, home of the Maggio Musicale, which, like its twinned city Salzburg - and also Bayreuth - holds the oldest and most important Festival in Europe, further supported by concert and opera seasons of the highest quality.

FLORENCE GIFT MARKTMainly pastels, restful and marine-like pale greens and blues, much blue, cobalt or periwinkle, but also lacquer reds and solar oranges; age-old materials like glass and alabaster reinterpreted with unusual modernity. Many ethnic ideas: candles - combining exotic fragrances and shapes, the humorous and casual object alongside of the large eternal pieces of the fine crafts sharing a bond of a quest for originality that public wants more today than ever before. This is the snapshot of the last edition of the Florence Gift Mart.If you are in love with this kind of craftsmanship (and inside you'll find even more...)

WE FLORENTINES GUELPHS AND GHIBELLINESA series of events, taking place in various stages, has the aim of rediscovering the historical period between 1215 and 1350, when the city of Florence was protagonist of the diatribe between Guelphs and Ghibellines. Like in a dream, Medieval Florence. Florence divided between Guelphs (supporters of the Pope) and Ghibellines (supporters of the emperor), between blacks and whites, (a feud between the Donati and Cerchi families), and between right and left. Florence returns to the splendor of what it was between 1215 and 1350. A Florence of a thousand and one controversies, battles, and factions, but rich in fascination, prolific in the fields of art and architecture.

Find The Right One

Finding a true love through internet is something seem to be quite normal nowadays, and when it comes with FOC and everybody can check and find their "taste" easily in all areas for free. A pleasent looking internet lover?. Ahaks.. Finding mr/ms right is not too complicated using internet, just register your profile in a portal and upload your nice damn pose to your profile and surely it will work. It is not like tweenty or thirty years ago when people were still looking their match thru parents, i believe not at all occasions, but it seems the social life has changed over time and people tend to be more opened at a certain things especially their lovers. It's easy to get started!
When i was in London last week and it happened that there was a lot of free newspapers around and of course whatever is free i just grapped one to fill my time and there was a column writen by Nancy Berg if i'm not mistaken is really triggered myself with what i happend done in the past three years. The column was talking about looking for mr right without go to clubbing or whatever. It was very beautiful column btw.

It seemed very romantic for the two who met on the Internet just a year ago to the day, yet miles apart but together within each others souls. They spoke very often on the mechanical machine that intertwined them both. Typing away on the keyboard ,, writing I love you darling... and miss you so very much.... Conversing on the days that they would meet and be together in the real world as they were on the internet world. Knowing almost every single detail of one anothers lives and not being able to imagine their lives ever being the same again if never having met each other. Then on the night of their fated anniversary the man awaits his lover counting the minutes , anticipating the moment when he would see her gorgeous words flow across the screen. And even tho the two never exchanged pictures, they agreed deep down that it wasn't neccesary to do that. That love was deeper than any photograph. And even though this promise was made , the man couldn't help but wonder what his beauty his lover had to bestow upon him. And that's all, sorry to not memorise the wholes story line. Interestingly the same goes to me when i started posted my profile in ekawan portal 3 years ago. It was really driving me excitement everyday. it was terrefic. I did recieve a tremenodus number of messages everyday asking for be a friend and sometimes i guess but all the times even more then that. It ended up first with calling at late night with flowery and romantic words and later set a date and meet. Those three years of searching mr right was hopeless. Nothing came with success. And my ekawan was abundant for i think almost a year and half now. And since then i never trust internet to search for whatever right, but sometimes i do

And this internet classic story of love searching is never ending. Sorry can't finish them all, getting off to bed. ciao!
